The Middle Stage includes Grades 6 to 8, catering to students aged 11 to 14 years. This stage marks a significant shift from activity-based learning to subject-specific instruction, laying the foundation for more abstract and analytical thinking. The curriculum becomes more academic and multidisciplinary, focusing on critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and conceptual clarity. Students are encouraged to ask questions, explore diverse perspectives, and engage in projects and hands-on experiments. Teaching methods are interactive, with an emphasis on collaborative learning and real-world application of knowledge. This stage also introduces students to multiple assessment formats including written tests, presentations, and projects, preparing them for the academic rigor of the Secondary Stage.
