Flight Instructor, Mach1 Aviation Academy
My journey began within the walls of Divine Public School, a place that quietly shaped me in ways I only began to understand much later in life. Those years were more than a routine of classes and exams — they were a series of moments, subtle yet powerful, that laid the groundwork for the person I would eventually become. There was a certain rhythm to life at Divine — the early morning bells, the sound of pages turning during quiet study hours, the buzz of energy in the corridors between periods. The atmosphere was one of quiet discipline, balanced with a sense of freedom to explore and express. It was here that I learned the value of persistence, the importance of preparation, and the quiet strength of self-belief. Academics, while central, were only one part of the experience. It was everything else — the camaraderie with classmates, the balance of structure and spontaneity, the opportunities to participate, to lead, to fail and try again — that gave those years their true weight. Without realizing it, I was being prepared not just to pass exams, but to face challenges, adapt under pressure, and continue striving forward, no matter the circumstances. As time moved on and I stepped into higher studies, the lessons from school continued to echo — in lecture halls, during sleepless study nights, and later, in moments of critical decision-making. Eventually, with continued dedication and hard work, I completed my degree in Aeronautical Engineering and went on to become a commercial pilot — a career that has brought immense fulfillment and pride. Even today, I often find myself reflecting on those foundational years at Divine Public School. The values I absorbed, the habits I formed, and the mindset I cultivated there continue to serve me every day. It wasn’t any single moment, but rather the quiet accumulation of many, that carried me to where I am now — and for that, I hold my school days close with lasting gratitude.

Having spent 12 formative years at Divine, from LKG to Grade 10, I can confidently say that this institution has had a tremendous and lasting impact on who I am today. For many, school is just a part of their academic journey, but for me, Divine was the foundation where my dreams took shape, my values were nurtured, and my identity was formed. I am forever grateful for the quality education, the vibrant learning environment, and the unwavering support that I received from my school. From the basics of mathematics and science to the art of communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving—Divine equipped me with every skill needed to thrive both professionally and personally. A special note of thanks goes to Wales Mathew Sir, who was not just a leader but also a mentor, a parent, and a friend to every student. Assistant Collector and Assistant Magistrate, Hooghly
I studied at Divine Public School from Class 5 to Class 12, and those years were truly transformative in shaping who I am today. Divine was more than just a school—it was a space where I discovered my strengths, values, and aspirations. One of the most beautiful aspects of my time at Divine was the way we were all treated like family. The teachers and staff genuinely took interest not just in our academics, but also in our personal and family matters, always ensuring that every student felt heard, supported, and emotionally cared for. This environment of warmth and empathy made the school feel like a second home. The dedicated and inspiring teachers played a crucial role in building a strong academic foundation while also nurturing my confidence in co-curricular and leadership activities. It was at Divine that I developed essential skills like writing, public speaking, and critical thinking, which later gave me the conviction to prepare for the Civil Services Examination. The values of discipline, empathy, camaraderie, and service that I imbibed here continue to guide me as I serve in the Indian Administrative Service. I remain deeply grateful to Divine Public School for the enduring impact it has had on my life and journey.
